Newborn Shoot on Location - We were so thrilled when our dear friends reached out to us to photograph their newest addition, Ryder. With our mobile studio in-work, we were eager to setup the perfect scene with our numerous backdrops and props. Big sister, Isabelle, also made an appearance which made the whole shoot so much fun.
Family Portraits in the Cotton Fields - Laurie had been eagerly waiting to do a shoot in the cotton fields and this winter we were finally able to fulfill her wish. We always enjoy working with the Martinez family and the cotton field was the perfect setting to capture this beautiful family.
Senior Portraits at the University - We recently had the pleasure of working with our friend Alanna again, taking her senior portraits at the University of Arizona. It was a perfect day to capture and accentuate the beautiful dress she wore.
Portraits in historic Tucson - As photographers starting out, we have been extremely fortunate to have close friends agree to model for us. Anxious to show off our unique style, we were thrilled to work with Alanna and Christian who brought the contemporary look we wanted. They were as eager as we were to seize this opportunity to capture modern looks in a well-known historic neighborhood in Tucson.
Maternity Shoot in the Desert - The Elias family is extremely blessed and excited to be welcoming baby Olivia into their lives, just as we were elated to share this special time with them. The warm Arizona evening, combined with the Saguaro National Park mountains, offered a perfect setting to compliment the gorgeous family, especially the glowing mother, Beba. We had so much fun during this shoot and look forward to meeting baby Olivia in April.
Family Portraits at Sunset - We recently had the pleasure of photographing Adrian, Viviana, and their two beautiful daughters. The sunset was magnificent and cast the perfect warm glow over the desert landscape, creating just the look we were wanting. Their family was fantastic to work with and the evening session was a complete blast. Our thanks goes out to their family and we look forward to working with them again.
Creative Portraits - With our niece attending the University of Arizona, we have recently had the pleasure of spending more time together. Majoring in graphic design, she has a beautifully creative mind which naturally meshes with Laurie’s, and fits our vision of Desert Duo Photography’s style. These are a few images from what was a quick, but extremely fun session to witness the two interact together.
101 at La Encantada - The holiday season always brings families together, however recently we were fortunate enough to spend time with family for another reason. Christopher and his grandmother share a birthday in early December and this year she turned 101! This offered a perfect opportunity to capture some special moments together including this afternoon session at La Encantada. Laurie was even able take a few shots showcasing four generations of the family.
Family Portraits in the Desert - Jessica and Daniel, along with their son and twin daughters happen to live down the street from us and trusted us to take their family portraits. It was a perfect overcast day for the shoot and they arrived with delightful energy and bright smiles. We had a great time during the session and shared many laughs. Our thanks goes out to Jessica, Daniel, and their wonderful kids.
